Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what information VPNAO processes when providing cross-border network acceleration services, why it is processed, and how users can manage related data. Using the service means that the user has read this policy. If descriptions of data processing differ between pages, this policy and applicable legal requirements take precedence.

Information We Collect and Why We Process It

VPNAO follows a data minimization principle. Registration requires no email address: users can create an account with a username and password, so the service does not require or collect a registration email. Account information is used for authentication, access control, plan status management, and account security.

Order records may include the selected service, amount due and amount paid, payment status, transaction identifier, refund status, and order creation time. This information is used to deliver subscription services, verify payments, process refunds, resolve order disputes, and meet necessary financial record obligations.

When users visit the website, the system may process page visit records, referring pages, browser type, device category, IP address, approximate region, and error information. This analytics data is used to check whether pages work properly, analyze overall traffic trends, investigate abnormal requests, and improve page compatibility. It is not used to build profiles of users' browsing interests.

No-Logs Position and Connection Data

VPNAO does not record which websites users visit or retain activity logs that could reconstruct web content, queries, or communications. The service does not create personal profiles based on destinations or use network activity records for ad targeting.

To measure traffic, schedule routes, troubleshoot faults, secure accounts, and prevent abuse, the system may temporarily process necessary technical events, such as whether a connection succeeded, the type of service error, and account traffic usage status. This information is used only to keep the service running and does not include access content. Identifiable connection logs are not retained long term and are deleted or de-identified after their processing purpose is complete.

Cookies and Local Storage

The website and user panel may use cookies or browser local storage to save login status, language preferences, interface settings, and necessary security status. This data keeps sessions continuous, avoids repeated setup, and supports account features. Disabling necessary storage may prevent login status from being retained and may stop some panel features from working properly.

Identifiers used for analytics serve only aggregated analysis, fault diagnosis, and duplicate-request prevention. Users can clear cookies and local storage through their browser settings. After clearing them, login status and saved preferences may need to be configured again.

Payment Processing and Third-Party Services

VPNAO supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Payments are processed by the relevant third-party payment service, which receives information necessary to complete the transaction under its own policies. VPNAO receives the order result, transaction identifier, and reconciliation status needed to determine whether service access should be activated or refunded.

Third-party payment services are responsible for the data they process independently. Before entering a payment page, users should read the privacy notice and transaction rules displayed by the relevant service. VPNAO does not sell order information to third parties or authorize payment services to use order data for marketing unrelated to the transaction.

Data Retention and Deletion

Account data is retained while the account remains active to support login, service delivery, and historical order lookup. Order and transaction records are retained as required for settlement, refunds, dispute handling, and applicable legal obligations. When those obligations end, the data is deleted, anonymized, or separated from identifiable account information. Analytics and temporary technical events are retained only as needed for analysis, security protection, or troubleshooting.

Users can submit a ticket through the user panel to request access to, correction of, or deletion of account-related data. After receiving a request, VPNAO first verifies control of the account and then processes data eligible for deletion. If some records must continue to be retained for an incomplete order, dispute handling, or legal obligation, VPNAO restricts their use and processes them after the retention basis no longer applies.

Policy Updates and User Choices

VPNAO may update this policy when service features, data processing practices, or applicable rules change. Updated text will be published on this page, and the last-updated date at the top will be adjusted accordingly. Significant changes involving data use or user rights will be explained through a visible notice in the user panel.

Users can manage local storage through their browser and manage their account or submit data requests through the user panel. If a user does not agree with the updated processing practices, they can stop using the relevant features and request deletion of account data. Order records that must be retained by law will continue to be handled under this policy's retention rules.
